Procedure for Payment of CUSAT 2017 Admission Fee to Confirm Seat Allotted :- 

1. Click the link “Make payment” in Home page. You will be directed to SBI Collect Page.

2. Select the Allotment-Whether PG/MCA/B.Tech

3. Enter your roll number and click submitbutton.

4. The details of allotted course, fees and other basic details will be displayed on the screen.

5. After entering the required details you will be directed to select banks / payment methods. You can use Net banking facility, ATM-cum-Debit card and credit cards of any bank for making the payment. SBI will charge transaction fee at the following rates:

  • For SBI Net banking and SBI ATM-cum-Debit card Rs.11.50 per transaction
  • Other Banks’ Net Banking – Rs.17.25 per transaction
  • Other Banks’ credit/debit cards – Rs.679.19 per transaction

6. After making payment take a printout of the Receipt and keep it for future reference. If you fail to take a printout at the time o f payment you can take the same by going to online sbi –> SBI collect –> Payment History.

7. The payment confirmation will reflect in the candidate home page only on the afternoon of next working day

Top Seven IITs To Decide their Own Fee Structure – IITs may soon decide their own fee structure

Zonal IITs will Decide their Own Fee Structure Indian Institutes of Technology IITs which is a Premier Engineering Institutes in India will Soon be allowed to Decide and Fix the Fee Structure for Various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs Offered in IITs. All Students who are aspiring for Admissions to B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Programs Offered in IITs are hereby informed that the IITs are likely to be allowed to set their own fee structure without consulting the apex council which governs these premier institutes.

Part of a larger project called – Vishwajeet, the move will assist IITs in improving their global university rankings. In 2016, none of the IITs featured in the Top 200 of the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Ranking except for IIT Bombay which made a single entry in the 351-400 rankings. In order to Enhance the Autonomy of Institutes the Board had Decided to Leave the Fee Decision to that Institutes Only.

Presently IIT Council which will contain the IIT Directors and Board Governors of All IITs chaired by the Human Resource Development Minister will Decide the Fee Structure for Various Courses Offered at IITs. IIT Bhilai, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Dharwad, IIT Goa, IIT Guwahati, IIT Jammu, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, IIT Palakkad, IIT Patna, IIT Ropar, IIT Tirupati and IIT Varanasi will have New Fee Structure which will be Notified after Fixing.

Former HRD Minister Smriti Irani announced in the Month of April about the Annual fees hike for UG courses in IITs from existing Rs 90,000 to Rs 2 lakh for General Category Students. This rise of annual fees which will be a 122 % for new enrollments Students who are applying for this Academic Session 2017 – 2018. Also MHRD had Facilitated Full Fee Waiver for differently-abled Students, SC Candidates, ST Candidates and General Candidates whose Annual Income is Less than 1 Lakh Per Annum.
