Students who applied for WBJEE JEM 2012 entrance Test are hereby informed that the Joint Entrance Examination Authority had Made some changes in the WBJEE JEM 2012 Examination Pattern. Students who are appearing for WBJEE JEM 2012 Entrance Test can check the changes that are made in the WBJEE JEM 2012 Entrance Exam Pattern.

Changes WBJEE JEM 2012 Entrance Test Question Paper Pattern :

1.  All the questions in each paper will be  of MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) type and must be answered in the OMR sheet provided. No short descriptive type questions will be there like last years.
2.  For  Mathematics and  Biological Sciences papers -    total number of  questions will be 80 (eighty) in each  paper, out of which questions bearing sl. no. 1 to 60  will carry 1 (one) mark each and questions bearing sl. no. 61 to 80  will carry  2 (two) marks each.
3.  Physics and Chemistry combined paper will consist of  80 (eighty) no. of questions out of which questions bearing sl. no. 1 to 40 will be from the subject Physics and questions bearing sl. no. 41 to 80 will be from the subject Chemistry. Questions bearing sl. no.1 to 30 and sl. no. 41 to 70 will carry 1 (one) mark each, whereas questions bearing sl. no. 31 to 40 and 71 to 80 will carry 2 (two) marks each.
4.  There will be 4 (four) answering options for each question amongst which only one would be correct. More than one  answer/response indicated against one question will be treated as wrong/incorrect  answer/ response.
5.  For each incorrect  answer/response, 33.33% of  mark(s) allotted to the corresponding question will be deducted from the total marks secured by the candidate.

KCET 2012 Application forms for Karnataka Candidates and Other State Students :

Students of Karnataka who are residing outside Karnataka (Horanadu, Gadinadu and other Karnataka candidates i.e., who fulfils the eligibility conditions) who are studying or who have studied 12th standard or equivalent examination outside the State of Kamataka, within the territory of India, can procure the brochure cum application form by SPEED POST, by sending a self-addressed cloth-lined envelope of size 25 cm x 30 cm along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 750/- drawn in favour of The Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore, payable at Bangalore.

KCET 2012 Application Forms for Karnataka Students Residing Outside India :

Karnataka candidate residing outside India can get the brochure cum application form by sending a demand draft for Rs. 5,000/-. The contents on the self-addressed envelope should be in English or Kannada language only. The cover in which the demand draft and self-addressed envelope are sent should be boldly super scribed with the words REQUEST FOR CET-2012 BROCHURE and should be sent to the office address of Executive Director by Speed Post ONLY The KEA will not take responsibility for the envelopes sent through courier or given in person or through any other private arrangement and also for incomplete and insufficient address on the envelope.

The last date for submission of Demand Drafts by Speed Post will be 15-03-2012.

Here is a bitter news for the First Batch B.Tech Students who were graduated in New IITs, As the New IITs which were Established in 2008 are yet to be approved by the Parliament. As Per the Official Sources First Batch Students who were Graduating this year will not get an IIT Degree for this Time.

IIT Hyderabad Director Said that New IITs Approval Bill was Passed in Lok Sabha and Awaiting for approval in Rajya Sabha. IITians of New IITs are hoping that the Parliament will moves the New IITs Approval Bill Quickly so that they can get the IIT Degree in time.

As Per the Details Given by the IIT Officer around 600 Under Graduates and Post Graduate Students will be graduated from the New IITs. If Everything Goes well First Batch IITians in New IITs will get their IIT Degree after Completion of their Course.

• Advisory note for the eligibility in scholarship for higher education (SHE) under INSPIRE scheme.
