Here is a bitter news for the Students who are aspiring for Engineering Admission In Tamil Nadu State. Self Financed Colleges in Tamil Nadu waited Six years for Fee hike for Engineering Programs in the State are likely to get this year. Several Private Engineering Colleges has Written to the Fee Committee Under NV Balasubramanian for hike in Fees.

The Consortium of Self Financed Engineering and Professional arts and Science Colleges in Tamil Nadu had requested the Government of Tamil Nadu to Double the Fee (i.e. from 32,500 to 65,000) for Govt Seats and at least 5,000 for Management Seats.

Higher Official in state Educational Department Said that they hope that the Colleges request may be Considered this year. If government consider the Colleges request on Fee hike on the Engineering Fee to be Doubled.

As Per the Sources Says that the CM has Also Allocated Rs 93.64 Crore for the Construction of Engineering Colleges Buildings and also these Funds will be utilized for developing infrastructure facility of the college which includes setting up of laboratories, hostels and purchase of computers.
