Instructions for Filling BITSAT 2015 Online Application Forms All Students who are aspiring for Admission to B.Tech Engineering Programs in Birla Institute of Technology and Science BITS Pilani, BITS Goa and BITS Hyderabad Campus are hereby informed that the BITS Authorities has Published Instructions for filling BITSAT 2015 Online Application Form. So All Students who aspires to apply for BITSAT 2015 Online Entrance Test has to Read the Instructions before Filling BITSAT 2015 Online Application Form.

Instructions for Filling BITSAT 2015 Online Application Forms : 

  1. Carefully read the brochure for eligibility conditions and other details. You can either download a copy of the brochure (pdf format) or read it online
  2. Read carefully all the Instructions given in this page before proceeding to fill the BITSAT 2015 Online Application Form. You are advised to take a print out of these instructions so that you can refer to the same while filling the form. Once you confirm the correctness of entered data it will be recorded and you will not be allowed to change it thereafter.  Therefore before confirming ensure the correctness of all entered data. After reading the instructions, click on the Allow me to apply online button at the bottom of this page. (You may have to scroll down the page to see the link)
  3. After completing the form online, you will be asked to take print outs of the filled form. You should take two copies of the printout and keep with you for future reference. The last date for applying by completing the online application along with prescribed fee is 20th February 2015. You are not required to send any document by post. Please Note that the deadline for completing the application along with prescribed fees is 20th February 2015.
  4. While filling the application form you will be asked for center preferences. You can choose the centers from within India or Dubai. If you choose centers within India you will be asked to give three preferences and will be allotted one out of the three. If you Choose Dubai as a center you will not be asked for any other center preference and you will be allotted Dubai Center.
  5. If you choose centers within India Application Fee for male candidates will be Rs.2090/- and for female candidates it will be Rs. 1590/-. If you choose Dubai as a center the Application Fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US$50 (or Rs.3100/- Indian Rupees).
  6. Before printing out the filled form, the system will generate a unique application number for you. Note down this number as it will be required for all future references. If you do not have a printer attached to the computer while filling your online application, you can complete the application process and take the printout of the application form later by entering your personal details and the application number.
  7. While applying online, do not use the Back button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another. Further, when you have completed applying, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details.
  8. After successful completion of the application process, please check the status of your application at CLICK HERE and follow the instructions.

Instructions for Students appearing ECET 2014 Entrance Test All Diploma Holders and B.Sc Graduates who are appeing for Engineering Common Entrance Test ECET 2014 Entrance Test on 10th May 2014 are hereby informed that the ECET 2014 Authorities has Published Instructions for Students who are appearing for ECET 2014 Entrance for Admission to Direct Second year Programs in Various Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh can check Instructions / Guidelines for ECET 2014 Entrance Test.

Engineering Common Entrance Test ECET 2014 Instructions : 

  1. The ECET 2014 Entrance Examination will be Conducted on 10th May 2014 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm  (Saturday). Registered Students will be permitted into the ECET 2014 Examination Hall at 9:15 AM and candidates are neither allowed to enter after 10.00 am (will not be allowed even if they are LATE BY A MINUTE) nor to leave before 1.00 pm.
  2. ECET 2014 Hall ticket shall be produced at the Entrance of the ECET 2014  Test Centre and also in the ECET 2014 Examination Hall, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to write the test.
  3. All Entries on ECET 2014 OMR Sheet must be made correctly. ECET 2014 OMR Answer Sheet will NOT be valued if the candidate writes any irrelevant matter, symbols, religious marks, prayers or identification marks on any part of ECET 2014 OMR Answer Sheet as it accounts to malpractice.
  4. Complete the Filled in ECET 2014 Online Application Form by Affixing photograph duly attested by a Gazetted officer / Principal of the college where the candidate has last studied and it should be handed over to Invigilator after signing in the presence of Invigilator.
  5.  Carrying of Calculators, Mathematical/Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, any other Electronic Gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
  6. Adoption of any kind of unfair means and any act of impersonation at the time of test will render the applicant liable for invalidation of his/her ECET 2014 OMR Answer sheet. Further he/she will forfeit the claim of appearing for the test and will make him/her liable for criminal action.
  7. Issue of ECET 2014 Hall Ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically entitle the candidate for admission into a College.
  8. Changing an ECET 2014 Answer is NOT Allowed.
  9. The Candidates must fully satisfy themselves about the accuracy of the answer before darkening the appropriate circle with Blue/Black Ball Point Pen, as it is not possible to change or erase once darkened.
  10. Use of Eraser or White Fluid on the Answer Sheet is not permissible as the answer Sheets are machine gradable and it may lead to wrong evaluation.
  11. The Candidate should also sign on the ECET 2014 Hall Ticket in the presence of Invigilator as signed in the application form.
  12. The Candidate should return the (i) ECET 2014 OMR Answer Sheet, (ii) duly completed Filled in ECET 2014 Online Application Form and (iii) Q.P.B Acknowledgement Slip before leaving the ECET 2014 Examination Hall. Failure to do so will make him/her liable for Criminal action.
  13. ECET 2014 Question Paper booklet shall be retained by the Candidate.

Instructions For Students Appearing For BITSAT 2014 Online Test All Students who are appearing for BITSAT 2014 Online Test are hereby informed that the BITS Admission Department has Published BITSAT 2014 Online Test Instructions for Students who are appearing for BITSAT 2014 Online Test. www.myengg.com has Uploaded the Instructions / Guidelines for BITSAT 2014 Online Entrance Test. 

BITSAT 2014 Online Test Dates : 

BITSAT 2014 Online Test Starting Date is : 14th May2014

Closing Date for BITSAT 2014 Online Test is :  1st June 2014

Students who applied for BITSAT 2014 Online Test from Dates between  14th May & 1st June 2014 are hereby informed to check the Instructions for Students appearing for BITSAT 2014 Online Test.

Instructions For Students Appearing For BITSAT 2014 Online Test : 

1. Students has to Reach the BITSAT 2014 Online Test Center at least 40 minutes before the Scheduled Time. For example, if the BITSAT 2014 Online Test slot assigned is 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, then the Applicant should reach the BITSAT 2014 Online Test Center by 7:50 AM latest. The personal verifications and other formalities will take time. Students must note that Latecomers will not be allowed entry to the BITSAT 2014 Online Test. 

2. Address of the BITSAT 2014 Test Center is printed in the BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket. In your own interest, Applicants please familiarize yourself with the BITSAT 2014 Test Center Location and approach to the same a few days before the BITSAT 2014 Online Test Date, so that you do not experience any difficulty on the day of the BITSAT 2014 Online Test.

3. Students Must Put Your Signature & Emergency Contact Phone in the Empty Space Provided. Do not write anything else on the BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket either before or during the test. Any tampering of the BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket will lead to automatic disqualification. 

4. On the BITSAT 2014 Hall Ticket there is a space provided for pasting your Recent Passport size Photograph. Please paste your photograph on the space provided and get it attested by Head of Institution or Gazetted officer.

5. A Password is printed on the BITSAT 2014 Hall Tcket. Dont share it with anyone else. The password will be required at the BITSAT 2014 Online Test Center and also to access certain features at BITSAT website. 

6. You can appear in BITSAT 2014 only once. If it is found that you have appeared more than once in BITSAT 2014 you will be disqualified and will be ineligible for admissions to BITS. The Test centers are monitored by cameras for security purpose and to avoid impersonations.

7. Do not carry any personal belongings like bags, mobile, camera, electronic gadgets etc. to the test venue. You should bring a pen/pencil for signing/for doing rough work. You will be provided worksheets inside the venue for rough work. Calculators and logarithmic tables are NOT allowed inside the test venue. You should not take any paper away from the test venue, except your own BITSAT 2014 hall ticket.

8. BITSAT 2014 Applicants are strongly advised to familiarize yourself on the use of computer, keyboard and mouse. For your benefit, a sample test is already available at BITSAT website, which you can download and practice. The Institute cannot provide practice in computer operation at the test venue.

10.  For your benefit, some of the screen shots of the actual test are given below.  Since you have only limited time for the test, you have to familiarize yourself with the features before coming to the venue. You are also strongly advised to go through the sample test available at the BITSAT website. Also go through the BITSAT-2014 brochure and other instructions provided at BITSAT website.

Instructions For Students Appearing For BITSAT 2014 Online Test :

Important note:

  • BITSAT 2014 Applicants must choose a particular Answer by clicking on the circle adjacent to the same. By clicking again on the same circle Applicants can Delete choice given by them.
  • Applicants can move from one part to another or from one question to another by clicking on the appropriate buttons. However, if you are not familiar with them, you may answer the question and move to next question by simply clicking on the Next question button. You can thus go through all the 150 questions in a sequence.
  • You should click on the I have completed the Test button only when you want to close BITSAT 2014 Online Test. Once you confirm that you want to generate the score, you will not be allowed to go back to the test.
  • As explained in the brochure, you have the option of attempting 12 more questions if you complete attempting all the 150 questions. This feature will be available only when you complete answering the 150 questions and click on the I have completed the test button, provided there is still time left.
  • During the BITSAT 2014 Online Test, if you experience any problem with the computer/monitor etc., please inform the invigilator immediately. The system will be set right at the earliest. The answers entered by you are stored in a separate server and you will not loose any data. Further, the time lost due to malfunction of the machine will not be counted against the time allotted to you.

View Full Size ImageThe IIT of Banaras Hindu University has a new Director. The Prof of the Indian Institute of  Information Technology IIIT Hyderabad, Prof Rajeev Sangal has joined as a new director of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on Tuesday.

Prof Sangal did his masters and research in Computer and Information Sciences from University of California, USA after completing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT-Kanpur. He earlier served as director-cum-vice chancellor of IIIT-Hyderabad.

Prof Sangal is known for his work on development of software for converting and translating languages. He has developed 8 softwares for the conversion of the matter from one language to other. He has also built 18 systems of machine translation out of which eight systems are released for public use. He has led a consortium of 12 institutions for building machine translation system for nine Indian languages.

Schedule Tasks as per the Terms (Monthly Time Management):

  • The aspirant should Schedule the tasks to be done in the year as per the availability of time.
  • Just imagine if there are 9 months for your exams to be happen you can divide the schedule for 3 quarters where each quarter contains 3 months
  • One must cover all the subjects, as every mark in such competitive exams is valuable and we should not take chance of loosing a mark
