IIT Kharagpur Blacklisted 8 Startup Companies in Placements In Significant Move Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur had Blacklisted 8 Startup Companies in Participating the Campus Placement Drive. As Per the Details Given by Debasis Dev IIT Kharagpur Placement Officer the IIT KGP Management had Decided to ban All the Startup Companies which had withdrawn / Cancel / Not Offered Placement for Students who got Selected in Drive. Last Year Several Startup Companies had withdrawn Or Cancelled Placement Offers so IIT Kharagpur did not Allow the Those Startup Companies to attend IIT Kharagpur 2017 Campus Placement Drive which will Start from December 2016.

As Per the Details from Official Sources 31 Startup Companies in Various Indian Institute of Technology Across India. As the IIT Placements Secession Starts from  December Several Startups, Multi National Companies and Other Companies has been Registered for Offering Placements in IIT Kharagpur Campus Placement Drive.

IIT Kharagpur Placement Committee is Preparing some Norms for Startup Companies As Per the Norms Every Startup Companies has to Satisfy eligibility criteria for startups that the different IITs can choose to follow. “They should be functioning for at least three years, must name their venture capital firms, disclose their source of funding, balance sheet and number of employees. The IITs have also been asked to find out if they are listed companies,” said committee coordinator Kaustuba Mohanty.As Per the Sources Till Now 10 Startups which had Satisfied Eligibility Norms are allowed to Participate in IIT Placement Drive.

Former IIT Bombay Director Ashok Misra Said that IITPAL is an Interactive education Portal Hosting Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Video Lecture of IIT Professors, along with Past 50 Years IIT JEE Entrance Test Question Papers with Solutions.

IITPAL Scheme will be Designed as a Massive Open Online Course MOOC which will Facilitate the Students to Practice in the Online Course Via Internet so that they can access Online Mock Tests, Assignments. If Students Had any Quires they can Ask Quires Related to Subject so that the IIT Professors will Respond and Clarify Doubt of Students. This Scheme Will Help Poor Students to get IIT Coaching From Experts and also helps in Eradicating the Monopoly of Private Coaching Centers.

Top Seven IITs To Decide their Own Fee Structure – IITs may soon decide their own fee structure

Zonal IITs will Decide their Own Fee Structure Indian Institutes of Technology IITs which is a Premier Engineering Institutes in India will Soon be allowed to Decide and Fix the Fee Structure for Various Under Graduate and Post Graduate Programs Offered in IITs. All Students who are aspiring for Admissions to B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Programs Offered in IITs are hereby informed that the IITs are likely to be allowed to set their own fee structure without consulting the apex council which governs these premier institutes.

Part of a larger project called – Vishwajeet, the move will assist IITs in improving their global university rankings. In 2016, none of the IITs featured in the Top 200 of the prestigious Times Higher Education World University Ranking except for IIT Bombay which made a single entry in the 351-400 rankings. In order to Enhance the Autonomy of Institutes the Board had Decided to Leave the Fee Decision to that Institutes Only.

Presently IIT Council which will contain the IIT Directors and Board Governors of All IITs chaired by the Human Resource Development Minister will Decide the Fee Structure for Various Courses Offered at IITs. IIT Bhilai, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Dhanbad, IIT Dharwad, IIT Goa, IIT Guwahati, IIT Jammu, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Mandi, IIT Palakkad, IIT Patna, IIT Ropar, IIT Tirupati and IIT Varanasi will have New Fee Structure which will be Notified after Fixing.

Former HRD Minister Smriti Irani announced in the Month of April about the Annual fees hike for UG courses in IITs from existing Rs 90,000 to Rs 2 lakh for General Category Students. This rise of annual fees which will be a 122 % for new enrollments Students who are applying for this Academic Session 2017 – 2018. Also MHRD had Facilitated Full Fee Waiver for differently-abled Students, SC Candidates, ST Candidates and General Candidates whose Annual Income is Less than 1 Lakh Per Annum.

528 B.Tech Seats to be Added in IITs From 2017

From 2017, IITs to increase 5 % seats for students – IIT Council Approved to Increase 500 Seats in IITs

500 B.Tech Seats to be Added in IITs From 2017 Good News for All Students who are aspiring for Admission to B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Programs offered in Indian Premier Institutes Like Indian Institutes of Technology IITs as the IIT Council and Joint Admission Board of IITs had Decided to Increase the Number of Seats in IITs, As Per the Decision Taken by Officials 5% of B.Tech Seats in Various IITs will be increased from this Academic Year 2017 – 2018. A Total of 72,000 Students has been Studying in IITs in All Courses including B.Tech, M.Tech and Phd All Years Ministry of Human Resource Development is Planning to Increase Number of Seats to One Lakh by 2020. MHRD Minister Lead IIT Council had Passed a Resolutions on 23rd October to Increase 5% Seats in IITs.

Joint Admission Council of IITs and IIT Madras which organizes JEE Advanced 2017 Entrance Exam had increased the Number of JEE Main Eligible Students to Apply for JEE Advanced 2017 Entrance Exam for this sake IITs are Planning to Bring More Seats in Various IITs. As on Now a Total of 10,572 B.Tech Seats are Available in 23 IITs. After Government of India and MHRD Approval IIT Council is Planning to increase B.Tech Seats IITs to 14,000. For This Year 4 New IITs will Start Functioning which will add 420 Seats to the Existing Seats List.

Official Sources form IITs Says that the Zonal IITs Like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur and IIT Roorkee contains Seats between 827- 1341. where as 10 IITs Still Contains Seats from 90 – 200. Because of Maximum number of B.Tech Seats in Zonal IITs All theses Zoanl IITs are Planning to Increase M.Tech and Phd Seats. After Recommendations Various IITs had Send a Proposal to Increase their B.Tech Seats as Per the Infrastructure Available.

Details from Official Sources Says that the Singapore, UAE, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, Afghanistan, ithopiya Students can Write JEE Advanced Entrance Exam Directly without the Qualifying in JEE Main 2017. In Additions to Existing Seats in IITs the Council will Create 10% Supernumerary Seats in each Course for the Students who wishes to apply Under Foreign Category.

UCEED 2017 Result and Rank list

UCEED 2017 Result and Rank listCandidates who are interested to join in prestigious institutions like IIT’s are informed that there is a big opportunity for u to enter into IIT’s.As we all Know that for science stream candidates can apply for some branches and Mathematics branch candidates can apply for some branches of Engineering.But for admission to B.Des, any stream candidates can apply.Interested candidates to join in B.Des in IIT Bombay,IIT Guwahati,IIITDM Jabalpur are informed that they must apply UCEED 2017 conducting by IIT Bombay.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or it’s Equivalent examination in 2016 or going to appear in 2017 are only eligible for admission.Eligible and interested candidates can apply with out late fee on or before 11th Nov 2016 and with late fee of Rs.500 on or before 18th Nov 2016.Admit card may download from 26th Dec 2016.UCEED 2017 is going to be held on 22nd Jan 2016 in 19 cities of INDIA.

UCEED 2017 Result will be displayed on 20th Feb 2017.Candidates are informed that they must login in website to verify their results.Qualified candidates can download their score card from the website on 27th Feb 2017.Candidates must note that Score card will not be sent through post.

Candidates are informed that Rank lists will be prepared based on total marks in UCEED 2017.Also, they must note that only one list will be prepared and no separate lists will be prepared category wise.Only candidates who score the minimum prescribed marks in each Section of the question paper and minimum total marks will be included in the rank list. The minimum prescribed marks varies with the category.

UCEED 2017 Question paper pattern,SyllabusCandidates who are interested to Join in B.Des in IIT Bombay,IIT Guwahati,IIITDM Jabalpur are informed that they must appear for UCEED .IIT Bombay is conducting UCEED for 2017.Candidates who are Eligible and are interested are informed that Application process was started and will be available till 18th Nov 2016.Let us know the details of UCEED 2017.

UCEED 2017 is conducting by IIT Bombay for admission to B.Des in IIT Bombay,IIT Guwahati,IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates qualified their examination in 2016 and or going to appear in 2017 are only eligible.Eligible candidates may apply online before due date.

UCEED 2017 is going to be held at 19 cities in INDIA. Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Pune, Raipur and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates must opt their 3 choices and after submitting application form, change of examination centre is not possible. UCEED 2017 is going to be held on 22nd Jan 2017.Valid Admit card is to be produced to enter Examination centre.

UCEED 2017 is a computer based test with a duration of 3 hours and carry a total of 300 marks.Question paper consists 3 sections.

Section A Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions
Section B Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
Section c Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

Section A will not have any choices.Section B will have has one or more correct answer(s) out of the four given choices.Section C will have four choices out of which only one is the correct answer.Also, For Section A and Section B , there is no negative marking, but for Section c, negative marking is applicable for which correct answer will be awarded 3 marks and wrong answer will be awarded -1 mark.

As it is computer based test , there is no point for review, re-grading or retotalling of the examination paper. Draft Answer Key will be released on the UCEED website on January 28, 2017.Any discrepancy/comment regarding Answer keys of UCEED 2017 must be mentioned to uceed@iitb.ac.in, on or before January 31, 2017. Candidates have to mention “Comments on Answer Keys” in the subject of the mail.Final decision regarding Answer key will be taken by UCEED Committee.

Under Graduate Common Entrance Exam for Design 2017-Admit Card of UCEED 2017

UCEED 2017 Admit CardIIT Bombay invites applications from Eligible and interested candidates for admission to B.Des in IIT Bombay,IIT Guwahati,IITDM Jabalpur. Candidates who are interested are informed that to get admission to B.Des in mentioned institutes, they must appear for UCEED 2017.IIT Bombay is going to conduct UCEED 2017 on 22nd Jan 2017. Interested candidates may apply for UCEED 2017.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 or it’s equivalent Qualifying examination in 2016 and are going to appear in 2017 are eligible for Appearing UCEED 2017.Candidates have only option of submission of Online Application form. Online Application form will be available till 11th Nov 2016 with out late fee and with late fee of Rs.500 till 18th Nov 2016.

Candidates are informed that Admit cards are very essential to appear for UCEED 2017.Candidates whose application is filled completely will only can download their admit card from the website from 26th Dec 2016.Admit card contains the details  like,Name, UCEED application ID, Roll Number for UCEED 2017, photograph, signature, examination schedule, examination centre details and instructions to candidates.

If any candidate is unable to download their Admit card may contact Chair person,  UCEED 2017 at IIT Bombay immediately via e-mail or phone.Also, if any discrepancy regarding details mentioned in Admit card of UCEED 2017 must contact Chair person, UCEED 2017 at IIT Bombay on or before 9th Jan 2017 via e-mail.

Candidates must note that they must produce a printed copy of Admit card at time of Exam.

Under Graduate common Entrance Exam for Design 2017 -Documents required for Application form of UCEED 2017

UCEED 2017 Required DocumentsApplications are invited from Eligible and interested candidates for admission to B.Des in IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati,IIITDM Jabalpur. Candidates who are interested are informed that for admission to B.Des they must appear for UCEED conducted by IIT Bombay. It is informed that IIT Bombay released notification for UCEED 2017.

Candidates who have passed their 10+2 or it’s equivalent qualifying examination in 2016 or going to complete in 2017 are only eligible. Eligible and interested candidates are informed that only Online application forms forms are available.They must apply without late fee on or before 11th Nov 2016 and with late fee of Rs.500 on or before 18th Nov 2016.

Candidates must note that Some necessary documents mentioned below must be submitted along with application form.

Documents to be submitted along with Application form of UCEED 2017:

  • Recent Pass port Size Photograph taken with in last Six months.(in JPEG format)
  • Scanned copy of candidate’s full signature on white paper(in JPEG format)
  • Qualifying examination certificate, if appeared in 2016(in PDF format)
  • Candidates who will be appearing in 2017 for the board exam, a certificate from the school/college principal mentioned as below should be uploaded(in PDF Format)

Certificate from school/ college principal

  • OBC-NCL, Caste (for SC), tribe (for ST) or PwD certificate issued by a competent authority as below (in PDF format) if applicable.

Medical Certificate issued by concerned authority

  • Disability certificate  issued by a district medical board/competent authority if applicable.

Candidates must submit all  applicable documents with in due date.If any candidate fails to submit any one of the above certificate, their application will be merely rejected.
