Those Engineering Colleges which aspires to introduce Dual Degree Programs in their Colleges must apply on-line from May 10th to 20th 2012. AICTE will Allow the applied Colleges to strt Dual Degree Programs form the Next Academic year.

Good News for the Students With Growing importance for Metro, Several Private Engineering Colleges in India are ready to introduce B.Tech in Metro Technology from the Next Academic Year i.e from 2013 on wards.
The Delhi Metro Railway Corporation DMRC Had Proposed the MHRD to Start Metro Engineering Courses in Major Colleges. The Ministry of Human Resource Development had Suggested the All India Council for Technical Education AICTE to prepare a blue print on this Proposal.
AICTE Chairman said that Committee which has been formed to Prepare the Syllabus for Metro Engineering Course is likely to submit its reports in three months. He Said that Engineering Colleges that has Essential Facilitates will be given Permission to Start Metro Engineering Courses in their Institutes. If Every thing goes well Students will be Able to Peruse B.Tech in Metro Engineering from 2013.

Survey Conducted by the Under Graduate Engineering Students revealed that some facts about the Under Graduate Engineering Students in Karnataka State. As Per the Survey Reports only 54% has Successfully completed their Graduation at the End of their 4years Course.
Survey Says that the remaining 46% of Students could not make it to the Final year in time. As Per the Survey Reports the Statistics of students who did not complete their Degree in time is as shown below

Students who are appearing for Orissa Joint Entrance Exam OJEE 2012 are hereby informed that the Managements of Private Engineering Colleges had made proposal to close 4,000 seats in Information Technology IT and Computer Science Engineering CSE.
Sources Says that the Odisha Private Engineering Colleges Association OPECA said that 60 Colleges will shut Down the IT and CSE Courses in Institutes. At the Same Time the Colleges are planning to Increase the Capacity of seats for core Programs like Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering Courses.
OPECA Seceratry Said that the Colleges which are waiting to close the IT and CSE Courses for Past Two years got no Objection Certificates NOC from the State and the Courses will be abolished in the States from the Coming Entrance Exam which is scheduled to be conducted on May 6th 2012.

In the Journalists Press meet arranged at the IIT Hyderabad Campus on Tuesday IIT Hyderabad Director announced that The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad) is Planning to Start New Courses in IIT Hyderabad. These Programs will be Available for Students from the Next Academic year.
IITH Director said that Presently IIT Hyderabad Offers Computer Science and Engineering CSE, Electrical Engineering EE and Mechanical Engineering ME Programs and from Next Academic year on wards IIT Hyderabad is Planning o introduce Civil Engineering and Science Courses. He also said that the Institute is planning to introduce all Courses in the field of Nana Technology.
As Per the sources 800 students are perusing their Studies in IIT Hyderabad Campus. Officials Said that they are planning to increase the number of Students to 6000 in IIT Hyderabad by 2017.

Students can select the Program Sector like IT, Media, Entertainment, Telecommunications, Mobile Communications, Automobile, Construction, Retail, Food Processing, Tourism, Hotels, Jewellery Design and Fashion Design. Mr Sreedharan said that he advised the MHRD to Start courses Post Graduate Courses in Different Disciplines Connecting to Metro Engineering Technology. He said that Industry Need Professionals from Civil engineering, Electrical, Signaling and Air Conditioning engineering.
