There are two good news for students of Delhi. The first being the upgradation of the status to a state university, the second is the increase in intake. The total number of seats in Under graduate category will be 240

Software Engineering – 60
Electrical and Electronics – 60
Automotive Engineering – 60
Engineering Physics – 60

In addition to these under graduate courses, 168 Post-graduate seats are also offered by DTU. The total number of seats are predicted to be increased to over 1400 by 2012. There is a 85% reservation from this institution for the students from Delhi.
The institution is expected to have a hassle free development once it becomes autonomous.

    sir my cee-2009 rank in catgry is 200 (sc) can i have chance to get mech. engg. or chemical engg due to increase in seats ????????????? plz rply

    how much reliable is this information?? Dce staff is saying that they haven’t received ne letter from govt. regarding this, when they will receive the letter from govt. then are gonna increase the seats.
