The web based counselling for admission into engineering through Eamcet 2009 might not be held in the first week of July. Sources say that the fee structure is yet to be decided and hence there might be a delay. The fee structure would normally be revised once in 3 years. It was last revised in 2006 and hence it is planned to be revised in this year. The private Institutions are demanding a hike in the fees.

seats this year will be filled through web-based counselling. The initial estimation is that this process will end by the end of July so that classes can begin in late August.50 Helpline Centres are to be established across the State for admissions .

Student has to go to one of these centres for registration and get the certificates verified. A password would then be generated on the online system that will be used for the web based EAMCET Counselling. Students will then submit their final list of colleges in about a week’s time. This is done online.Based on the submissions of all the students, the seats in colleges will be allotted. The students have to then pay the fee in a bank.
