**VECTOR ALGEBRA & PROBABILITY – SYNOPSIS : **

Even though students feel probability a difficult chapter the questions which have come in the previous years are easy and moderate. The questions from random variable and distributors are easy to score .Rarely they give one or two difficult questions in probability (Application of Baye’s Theorem). Vector algebra is the scoring area, but student should be thorough with all basic concepts and formulae.

In probability and vector algebra around 12% of questions will appear in EAMCET . All questions are on basic concepts. Those who are thorough with TELUGU academy text book (IPE) can score more, but students will feel these topics are difficult to score as these topics need some more analytical ability than what students have normally at this age.

**TRIGONOMETRY – SYNOPSIS**

In trigonometry, students usually memorize it difficult to memorize the vast number of formulae. Understand how to derive formulae and then apply them to solving problems. The more you practice, the more ingrained in your brain these formulae

will be, enabling you to recall them in any situation. Direct questions from trigonometry are usually less in number, but the use of trigonometric concepts in coordinate geometry and calculus is very profuse.

In two years Intermediate TRIGONOMETRY around 14% of questions will appear in EAMCET. All questions are simple and most of the questions can be solved by substitution method, but students should be careful about the domains and ranges of trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions. **COORDINATE GEOMETRY – SYNOPSIS : **

This section is usually considered easier than trigonometry. There are many common concepts and formulae (such as equations of tangent and normal to a curve) in II year Geometry (circle, parabola, ellipse, hyperbola). Pay attention to

Locus and related topics, as the understanding of these makes coordinate geometry easy. In Co-ordinate Geometry 3D- Geometry is one area where students can score more with basic concepts and formulae, some of the questions in conic section are tricky. Over all co-ordinate Geometry requires formulae support so students should practice all theorem statements, note points, formulae and standard problems from Telugu Academy. Calculus includes concept-based problems which require analytical skills. Functions are the backbone of this section. Be thorough with properties of all types of functions, such as trigonometric, algebraic, inverse trigonometric, logarithmic,

exponential, and signum. Approximating sketches and graphical interpretations will help you solve problems faster.
