Facebook which is one among the Biggest Social Networking Giant had offered Rs 1.34 Crore Annual Salary for the MNNIT Student. Sources say that this Package offered by the Facebook will the Biggest Offer Made for any Technical Institutes in the Country.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Director Chakravarti Said that A B.Tech Graduate who appended the Facebook campus placements drive at the Institute has received his Appointment Letter with and annual Pay package of Rs 1.34 Crore (2,62,500 USD).

The MNNIT Placements Officer said that the Name of the Student has been Kept Secret for Security Reasons. As Per the Appointment Ordered the Students will Join at the Office at Menlo Park in California after completing his Software Engineering Course at MNNIT.

For 2011 passed out B.Tech batches the highest annual packages to selected students in some of these institutions were:
