After few years of this plan, IIT will stand nowhere. I think IIT paper should be made subjective as before and make IIT’s name as glittering as before. I am with Narayanmurti’s statement about the loss in the standard of IITians.

how can it help the rural student He has to take additional coaching for aptitude test.CAN he bear the burden. this this is absolutely wrong decision. if the govt wanna change any pattern of exam like the the prestegious iitjee, it has to study,consult the interested groups and also consider the opinion of lakhs of students and their parents. in the absence of the above, taking a mad decision in the middle of the two year programme and causing panic situation is highly condemned.

as long as there is no announcement in the newspapers this cannot be constituted as a valid announcement as many from the economically weaker section who will be taking the exam have no access to the net. Also the proposal has not yet got an approval from the senate of the various iits as such things stand status quo. The iit website still says jee is to be taken for undergraduate admission. So students do not stop your preparations.

this is governments way to bring down the standard of iitjee and support foreign colleges in india taaki inki jeb bhare…agar iit ka level down nhi hoga to foreign colleges yahan aakar kya krenge is liy ye congress aisa kr rhi hai..human development nhi inki khud ki pocket development hai….ab lawyers(kapil sibbal) engineering k dcisn lenge???stop this

I think he is doing a good job…. because after this the viral coaching institutes present all over india will be eliminated, which charge exorbitantly money for iit preparation, my view point is that, now only children of rich household are able to afford these coaching classes and on contrary children of poor household with equal callibar or may be more callibar are left behind, and are indirectly discriminated.

secondly, students preparing for iit jee neglect their schools, as statistics speak about low attendence of many students, poor score in 11th class exam or 12th board exam.

moreover, the coaching institutes charge all the fees mostly in cases at the time of admission or just after the admission, which is an extremely impossible task for parents mainly(poor housholds). and their promises are not guaranteed, they never talk openly about their faculty. And in many cases students complained that, in starting weeks they hire high class faculty and afterwards when full fee is paid students are neglected.

And i want to know what success percentage they give……a very little.

By this, firstly a student dont have to bother about different exams for different institutes like iit jee, AIEEE, IP etc..etc

secondly, student of any section of society will have equal chances of qualifying.

thirdly, pressure will be reduced of preparing for iit jee and 12th board.
schools will be given equal importance.

fourthly, sudents who will qualify will not be a (exhaused student who had regularly attented coaching classes for 2 years and had only sudied for commercial purposes)but also more talented students who studied to gain knowledge.

moreover, he will not be exhaused or under pressure constantly for 2 years or more.

A country work not only by people here or outside, who are sitting in their A/c room with an expensive mobile on their hand and commenting…. go outside you will see poor section of society make a majority in india.
welfare of all the sections of society is a neccessity for working of a democratic government like india..

And talking about future of quality of IITs its quality will not get degraded but only if we common people talk about deterioration of futre quality of IITs (like we are doing here).

Its not about, from which college(high quality or low quality) we are getting education, but what education(high quality or low quality) we are acquiring from the college.

what u said is absolutly correct… this will help in achieving a uniformity of resources for stydents applying for higher studies. scoring in boards is totly based on self study and a student can do that without lavish money spending in coaching classes. in this wayindia will be able to use majority of its human resource. and as far as the iit standard is concerned, it wont deteriorate. the resources , teachers .
infrastructure will be the same. and students? kota coaching centers are best for iit coaching. but stats show that thses students who prepare blindly for a seat without understanding tyhe value of education actualy, dont fare well in iits. these system will bring student who have a zeal to learn and have that aptitude to study at the same tym. clearing iit jee( previous pattern) dint mean u r a genius. i look forward to this system. people who are against it will in few years be in support to it. this will release a lot of burden from students.

what u are saying is partially true! but that comes with privatization of colleges. pliticians can enjoy haggardly if iits dont remain public funded institutions. the investment in iits is the same n central government controls it!
