In addition, Software for TOEFL, GRE, GMAT and IELTS, is procured for the benefit of the students. 1. Department of CSE&IT well established with 4 Computer Labs – Unix Lab, Networks Lab, Multimedia Lab and 1 R&D Centre. 2. Department of ECE having EDC Lab, PDC, E-Cad Lab, DSP Lab, Microprocessor Lab, Analog & Digital Commn. Lab and Microwave Engineering Lab. 3. Department of EEE is established with NT Lab,P-Spice Lab, Control Systems Lab, PDC Lab, Electrical Machines Lab, Power Systems Lab and Power Electronics Lab. 4. Department of Mechanical Engineering having Engineering Workshop & Practice, Engg. Physics Lab, Fuels & Lubricants Lab, Hydraulic & Hydraulic Machines Lab and Solid Materials Lab. E-Classroom : An E-classroom is also established in the Institute with facility of online expert lecturers through KU band dish Antenna. A bank of learning material in the form of CD's in different disciplines of Engineering are available. LIBRARY : A specious well-stocked library spread over 600 sqm. With a collection of 14000 books and 58 journals including 12 International journals besides 15 magazines and 6 newspapers is available. The management provides a book bank for economically poor students in addition to the integrated book bank for SC and ST students. All the transactions of the library have been automated. A Digital library with 24 computers and Video conferencing facility through SONET is also provided for the students. POWER SUPPLY : There are two generator sets with 20 KVA capacity, two-10 KV UPS, three-6 KV UPS and two-3 KV UPS to ensure power supply to the departments and library. Canteen : Adequate and requisite canteen facilities are provided at the college premises. The spic and span canteen caters to the daily requirements of students right from popcorn to milkshakes, soft idlis to parathas Hostels : MITS has separate hostel facility for boys and girls. All due facilities are adequately provided in hostels. Aqua guard water is supplied in the hostel for drinking purpose. The Institute is fully residential and hostel accommodation is provided to all students ( separate for men and women.) Every inmate of the hostel is provided with the necessary furniture and modern amenities. Transport: The college is connected by RTC Buses ply from Kodad-Huzurnagar for every thirty minutes. The college having exclusive bus facility for the students and staff of the college from Kodad town.MITS is located centrally between Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Khammam. Is is 95 kms from Vijayawada, 170 kms from Hyderabad and 40 kms from Khammam. There are regular bus services between Kodad and Hyderabad, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Vijayawada, Khammam and other towns. Also fleets of busses are there to cater to the students and staff of MITS.
