About Exam:
A Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Goa for the candidates seeking admission to first year degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture in various colleges in Goa.
Expected Date of Examination: In the month of May.
Eligibility:
1. Nationality:
Admission to professional courses in State of Goa is open to Indian national and the Foreign Nationals and Persons of Indian Origin holding non-Indian passport must apply to Govt. of India.
2. Age: An applicant to Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry and Homoeopathy must have competed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the academic year of admission to become eligible for admitting them in to First Year and No age limit is specified for admission to Engineering, Pharmacy and Architecture.
3. Valid Score at GCET 2009: An applicant for Degree courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering and Pharmacy must have appeared and obtained valid score at the Goa Common Entrance Test GCET conducted by Government of Goa for the year of admission.

About KCET:

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) is an entrance examination conducted each year for admission to various undergraduate medical/dental/engineering/architecture courses in the colleges and universities across Karnataka. Karnataka CET is conducted and regulated by Karnataka Examinations Authority(KEA).

Eligibility For Engineering Courses:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Mathematics and any of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology with atleast 45% aggregate marks in optional subjects(40% for SC/ST/OBC).
KCET Exam Pattern: There will be separate papers for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Examination pattern is Objective type questions and each paper consists of 60 objective type questions.The test comprises of two parts. First part is a combined paper for Physics and Chemistry of 150 minutes duration and second is Mathematics with 60 questions to be answeered in 80 minutes. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking for wrong answers.

2.For all courses, a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination is allowed to socially and Edukcetionally Backward Classes (SEBC) candidates.

About Exam:

Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations (TNPCEE) is an entry level test conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for candidates who seek admission to all Professional Courses in Tamil Nadu. Besides Anna University there are many participating institutes of TNPCEE.

Expected date of exam:Month of April.. Eligibility:
For B.E. and B.Tech courses candidates must have secured 60% in Mathematics and 60% in Physics and Chemistry taken together and aggregate of 140/200 in all the above subjects taken together.
Other State candidates are not permitted to some of the Professional Courses under TNPCEE.
Examination Pattern:
TNPCEE (Tamil Nadu Professional Courses Entrance Examinations) consists of 3 papers namely Mathematics, Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry) and Biology. Each paper contains Multiple Choice Questions.
The rank of the students is determined on the basis of performance of the candidate in the TNPCEE and Class 12 Board Examination.

About Exam:

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination conducts Tripura JEE exam every year for providing seats for the candidates in engineering,medical,agricultural courses in various colleges.Candidate had freedom to answer the questions in English or Bengali.

Eligibility:
For B.E. and B.Tech courses candidates must have secured 60% in Mathematics and 60% in Physics and Chemistry taken together and shpuld qualify in the entrance exam.
Examination Pattern:
Candidates seeking admission to engineering/technological degree of courses will have to appear in Group A that comprising of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Note:Candidate can attempt Tripura JEE only twice, in consecutive years.

About Exam:Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination

UKSEE(Uttarakhand State Entrance Examination) is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University for admission to various graduate and undergraduate programmes like engineering, architecture, pharmacy, hotel management and computer applications.

Eligibilty:

A candidate must have a diploma in pharmacy from a recognised institute with atleast 60% aggregate marks. Those who will appear for their final year exams in 2010 can also apply.
